my name is Amanda...and I'm a creativeaholic! I am a creative professional freelance Illustrator/Graphic Designer and Artist. I have been working in the industry for five years with extensive experience in illustration, print design, web design and digital art.
I am currently working as a freelancer under my own business name iCrave Creative which came about after I graduated from Durham College in 2006. I have worked with clients in the design, technology, fashion, editorial, web and art industries.
After graduating from high school I decided to move to Ottawa to pursue a dream of being an animator. I attended Algonquin College in our nation’s capital for 2 years. Unfortunately, I found the animation industry was not for me. Still wanting to be in the art and media industry I went to college for Graphic Design at Durham College in Oshawa, Ontario. Studying graphic design for 3 years made me realize, this is what I wanted to do.
The last semester came around and we had the opportunity to take a co-op program with a company in the industry. Falling in love with the city of Ottawa, I found myself going back and taking a co-op with Xactly Design & Advertising, where I helped with projects such as logo design, trade show poster design, annual reports and advertisements. Graduating from Durham College, I was still living in Ottawa. Now, with my own freelance business I was working with companies all over the Ottawa area. Now I'm back to pursue another dream.
